Eid-ul-Azha being celebrated in Pakistan

Pakistan News:Eid-ul-Azha being celebrated in Pakistan with the great spirit.

The day started with prayers for the prosperity and progress of the country after Fajr prayers. Eid congregations were held in all big and small cities across the country.

Millions of faithful offered Eid prayers in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalapindi, Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar and Quetta and prayed for the progress, prosperity and integrity of Pakistan, liberation of Kashmir, Palestine and Chechnya, restoration of peace and security in Afghanistan and Iraq, and for the unity and brotherhood amongst Muslims.

Muslims, who can afford, sacrificed animals after Eid prayers.

Foolproof security arrangements have been made for the day. The president, prime minister and other political leaders have greeted the nation on Eid-ul-Azha.
